LET’S GET YOU STARTED.

Two tools, one sign-in. Calculator checks whether a production plan fits. Timeline lets you organise the work your way.

YOUR FIRST CALCULATOR PROJECT

  1. Set the deadline. Use the date your event opens or begins.
  2. Describe the production. Answer the setup questions about design, fabrication, vendors and access. Use estimates until details are confirmed.
  3. Read the result. Prognosis highlights schedule pressure. Timeline shows the plan. Track identifies decisions to resolve.
  4. Save the project. Reopen it from My Projects and update it as the plan develops. Check the saved status before leaving.

YOUR FIRST TIMELINE

  1. Name your project and set its deadline. Choose working days and days off if needed.
  2. Add a lane for an item or workstream. For example, “Wall flats” under Build or “Order wood” under Buy.
  3. Add the stages and working days. “Cut 2 days → Assemble 2 days → Paint 3 days.” We work back from the deadline to find the start.
  4. Adjust and save. Click a block to edit it. Drag it to move the stage and following work. Choose Save Project to keep your changes.

The first view summarises each category. Click a category to see its lanes and stages. Transparent blocks are estimated, solid blocks are confirmed, and green blocks are completed.

SAVING & SHARING

Who can sign in?

Access is currently invitation-only. Use the email address that was invited. One DROP DEAD sign-in works across both tools.

Where do I find a shared project?

Open My Projects in the tool where it was created. A shared project is the same project for everyone: editors can change it and viewers can read it. Sharing a project does not itself grant access to the beta.

Are my edits saved?

Check the saved status before closing the page. In Timeline, choose Save Project. If a save fails or a newer version exists, keep your page open and follow the message. Do not reload an unsaved draft.

Can I send someone a file instead?

Timeline’s Download Project creates an editable project file. Download PDF creates a timeline and shop checklist. A downloaded file is a separate snapshot; it does not stay in sync with a shared project.

Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. No project data is attached automatically.

Do not include passwords, login codes or confidential client details. If you add a screenshot separately, check what it contains first.
